After successful UK tour Lost Goose Theatre Company brings 'Havarie' to Malta for one weekend only!

Performed for the first time in Malta: 'Havarie', as part of the 2014/15 Teatru Salesjan calendar. This original play will be staged around the audience in an intimate theatre experience. A maximum of 50 people will be allowed per show! 

From Homer's Odyssey to sea-faring Vikings, coast-bound fishermen, colonial war-fleets, and famine boats bound for the new world to the thousands of migrants landing on the Mediterranean shores every year: Perilous sea-journeys have been part of the shared European consciousness and history since the very beginning of Europe itself. The sea, with its allures and dangers, are an integral part of myth and story-telling - not only in Europe, but across the globe. Freedom or adventure, flight or conquest - at the beginning of each sea-journey stands the promise of a new world, a better world beyond the waves…

Havarie​ tells the story of two sisters who board a boat and leave their home. They are alone and scared, aided only by a herd of seals, upon whom they trust their delivery. They suffer from thirst and hunger, they get lost and encounter strange beings from deep beneath the water, and they have to brave wind and weather and their own fears. Because the sea is always calling…
