Colour and Light

The Watercolour Art Malta Group was set up by Miriam Borg whose intention was to bring together watercolour artists who are connected in some way through their work or personally to Malta. This group consists of approximately 400 artists, of all ages and abilities, some of whom are amongst our finest watercolour artists while others are beginners in the medium.

A group of 13 Watercolour Art Malta members will show a number of original Watercolour paintings in a collective exhibition called Colours and Light. We are hoping that this show will increase public awareness of this interesting, diverse, unpredictable and exciting medium and to provide greater exposure for the individual artists.

Colours and Light exhibition offers a wide range of subjects each of which lends itself to the creation of a unique work of art. In each painting the artist wants to tell a story, show an emotion, so that the viewer is intrigued by the beauty, charm and intimate quality of some of these scenes that would otherwise have been missed.

Dr Joseph Buhagiar B.Ed.(Hons), M.Phil., Ph.D.(Nott.) will be launching the Exhibition on Friday 28th November at 19:30. 

The Exhibition will be on the 19th of December 2014.
