Patron Magazine Issue 5 Launch

Patron Magazine will be launching it's next issue, The Quality Issue, in St. Anne's Square, Sliema, in collaboration with Diesel.

Edition five digs into the cultural progress of our creative industries, and attempts to focus on any vestige of quality in this rapidly changing social environment; applauding the good, criticising the bad, and providing suggestions for a promising future. 

Photography, being one of the strongest and most consistently improving fields in Malta, has a strong presence in this issue. We've featured some of Malta's best photographers in one editorial, stunningly curated by Julian Vassallo, and some of the best architectural photographers fromArchitecture Project in another.

We are also pleased to announce the unveiling of Diesel's Summer Collection for 2015, beautifully shot by Ryan Galea, in this issue. Youth never looked so innocent.

The issue includes an interview with Zvezdan Reljic and David Pisani ofEde Books, by Nikki Petroni, and an interview with Toni Sant, the new Artistic Director at the Centre for Creativity at St. James Cavalier, byJohnathan Cilia. We also speak to Malta's newest cinematic hope, Chris Zarb, and one of Malta's musical sons, Jim Hickey - apart from Trackage Scheme's selection of Malta's hottest musicians.

We also look into why Maltese people are losing their religion with Ramon Casha in one article, and critique Paceville for becoming what it has become in another.

To celebrate the Diesel Summer Collection launching, we have made a second limited edition cover version of the magazine, that will only be available at this launch event. Make sure you grab one before they disappear.

Sounds will be curated by the great Ben Vincenti all night long, to ensure maximum audio entertainment.
