What is it about?
This one day programme offers an introduction to Industrial and Intellectual Property law in Malta. The main aim of the programme is to provide a good understanding of the basic principles and the different rights which fall within the heading of Industrial and Intellectual Property law. It also seeks to demonstrate a practical context to each of them – the registration systems and the infringements. The programme will include a number of actual case studies – foreign and Maltese – designed to reinforce all that is covered throughout the session.

The programme is ideally suited for CEOs, brand executives, brand consultants, designers, R&D managers, accountants, professionals, management consultants, business students, entrepreneurs and brand owners.
What will I gain
The Industrial and Intellectual Property course provides a comprehensive understanding of all industrial and intellectual property rights, the differences between them, the principles governing what can and cannot be registered, the breadth of protection, what qualifies as infringement and how such infringement can be dealt with. You will gain a level of understanding, awareness and competence and make use of the comprehensive practical guidance that will enable you to conduct your business in compliance with industrial and intellectual property laws, be able to work on registration and protection strategies, and to better manage issues and disputes.
