Valentines Day!

Maltese NGO Kopin and the Attard Local Council will be jointly organising a CLIMATE CHANGE AWARENESS RAISING EVENT, aimed at raising awareness on climate change and related issues. There will be several stalls manned by different Maltese organisations, where visitors will be able to obtain information and engage in activities on topics related to climate change, such as water scarcity, agriculture and local produce, environmental protection or even fair trade.

Entertaining activities, films, debates and games will ensure that both adults and children will enjoy exploring the many different ways in which we can all contribute to mitigating climate change or adapting to its consequences.

Participating entities include the Bicycle Advocacy Group, Malta Organic Agricultural Movement, Gaia Foundation, Birdlife Malta, Say it and Koperattiva Commerc Gust and Koperattiva Rurali Manikata. The event is partly funded by the European Commission (ClimATE Change Project). It is open to the general public and free of charge.

Drinks, food tasting, film screenings and musical entertainment will be provided.
