Habbilni Ha Nirbah

Stagun Teatru Malti’s 2016 season opens at the Manoel, on February 12, with Simon Bartolo’s new play Habbilini ha Nirbah. 

STM has brought together a great cast made up of Monica Attard, Narcy Calamatta, Josette Ciappara, Carlos Farrugia, Vince Micallef Pulé, Antonella Axisa, Marceline Galea, Lorriane D’Ugo and Jean Pierre Cassar. The four girls playing the title characters are Kim Dalli, Daniela Carabott Pawley, Mariele Żammit and Shelby Aquilina.

Based on the true story about four Maltese girls who bet who’d get pregnant first by a young man they all were in love with, Bartolo’s “current, fiery, and unapologetic” script, alongside the Direction of Sean Buhagiar, who also directed the Bartolo-scripted ‘Jiena Nhobb, Inti Thobb’ will definitely translate the modern controversial story into a stunning piece of theatre.

You can book your tickets at the Manoel Theatre as well as online at www.teatrumanoel.com.mt. The shows will be one from the 12th to 21st February, and there will be two matinees on Sundays. Opening weekend tickets are reduced price. 

A piece of advice: don't wait till the last second to book, productions by STM have a tendency to be taken quickly.
