Amor

Alegria Academia de Baile Flamenco presents its bi-annual production entitled ‘Amor’. Based on the Maltese legend ‘L-gharusa tal-Mosta’, members of Alegria tell the story through flamenco dance. Under the patronage of the Ambassador of Spain, Amor will feature special guest artist Renzo Spiteri on percussion. The production will showcase a variety of Flamenco rhythms together with a few Maltese traditional songs including a local folk singer (Ghannej). Throughout the week prior to the performance nights, there will be a display of Paintings for sale by various local artists. This event will be making a contribution towards Cancer Research through RIDT.
