Irish Short Film Festival
Description:
Curated by Eibh Collins of IndieCork Festival and supported by the Embassy of Ireland in Malta a selection of some of the latest Irish shorts will be screened on the night. The Irish Film Fest celebrates how short film cinema emanating from Ireland is a journey of discovery in the land of mist and magical landscapes. Like Irish landscapes the short films being screened are varied, genre-defying and fascinating, from realistic portrayals of real-life people to narrative and experimental. Hosted by Audrey Scerri, this festival is a unique alternative film distribution, exhibition platform as these Irish shorts are not screened at local cinemas or TV, and additionally the audience will be given the opportunity to vote for the best film.
The event is being supported by the Embassy of Ireland, Double R Meats, Harmony Farm, Jameson Irish Whiskey and Guinness. There is free parking at St Patrick's Salesian School in St John Bosco, Sliema.
Entrance is 10 euros and includes a free tot of Jameson Irish Whiskey. For bookings please text on 99052482 or email euromediaforum@gmail.com.
