DAF Drive Day '17

As part of our Social responsibility, United Equipment Company Ltd (known as UNEC) together with DAF N.V of Netherlands are joining forces to organise a ‘DAF Drive Day 17’ on Sunday 8th October 2017 in aid of Puttinu Cares Foundation.

As DAF Dealers we are organising a fundraising activity in aid of Puttinu Cares Foundation, where all the DAF Truck Owners / drivers and their families are invited to join us for a short drive from Ta’ Qali to Montekristo Estate Luqa via our premises in Burmarrad.

DAF Truck Owners / Drivers and their families will be welcomed at Ta’ Qali (near ASM parking area) on Sunday 8 th October 2017 at 09:00 for a meet and greet session where all the trucks will line up for the Drive at 10:00.

The planned route for this Drive is as follows:

- Exiting Ta’ Qali in the direction of Mosta to our premises in Burmarrad
- To coast road and Regional road
- Then exit to Regional Road to Qormi road
- Manuel Dimech street Qormi
- Finishing at Montekristo premises at around 12.00hr (as shown in enclosed Map)

Upon arrival to our premises in Burmarrad, The Malta Records will be counting the participating DAF trucks hoping to achieve ‘The Longest Truck Parade record in Malta’. Further to this, United Equipment Company Ltd would like to welcome the participants for lunch at MonteKristo Estate in Luqa.

This will be followed by:
• DAF Truck Pull exhibition
• Fastest tyre changing challenge
• Raffle
• The opportunity to win an all-inclusive DAF Factory Tour in Holland

The activity will be concluded by a presentation of DAF related gifts to participants.
 
For this event, we are asking our participants to donate €10 per person and all proceeds will be presented to Puttinu Cares Foundation. We would encourage you, your family and friends to support and contribute to this charity event
