AFM Open Day
Description:
The Armed Forces of Malta will hold the annual AFM Day at Luqa Barracks on Friday 3rd October, celebrating the 44th anniversary of the formation of the service.
This year's AFM day will feature a large scale military parade (the "Trooping and Blessing the Colours" Parade)and an Urban Assault demonstration by the 1 Regiment C(SD) Company and 3 Regiment EOD section. A range of military hardware will also be on display while the AFM band will entertain all those present.
Entrance to the AFM premises will be free of charge but a donation in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund will be appreciated.
A Park and Ride facility will be provided from the Addolorata parking.
Doors open at 17:30 and close at 23:00.
