In May, the recently opened Palazzo de Piro Cultural Centre in Mdina will be paying tribute to mothers and women around the world. The Palazzo, already a landmark in its own right, is inviting established
Maltese singer Nadine Axisa to launch a series of open air concerts performed in the picturesque courtyard. Nadine Axisa has been participating in the most prestigious festivals both locally and
abroad for the past ten years. On Friday 18th May at Palazzo de Piro, she will revisit a vast repertoire of the greatest female Jazz singers and composers to enhance your evening with her superb and powerful
voice.
Prominent and gifted artists such as Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and
Sarah Vaughan have greatly influenced the following generations with their
ability to turn songs into magical and uplifting moments.
Indulge to their warm melodies, enjoy the spectacular views over the Maltese
countryside, and treat yourself with an affordable new menu specially created
by the de Mondion restaurant Chef de Cuisine Kevin Bonello. Women of all ages,
mothers-to-be, accomplished moms; Palazzo de Piro is opening its doors to warm
up your hearts.
