The Maltese Archipelago makes the perfect backdrop for this sun-drenched event of pure hedonism and shameless fun. Over 50,000 fans turn up each year to party in the famous Fosos Square, otherwise known as the Granaries in Floriana – and what’s more, it’s all for free! The Malta Tourism Authority partners with MTV each year to lay on the biggest FREE open-air concert in Europe, attracting thousands of visitors from across the continent and beyond. The huge square that splays out before the colossal Parish Church of Floriana transforms into a massive dancefloor, bookended by the MTV stage at one end and the dazzling church lit up by hundreds of bulbs at the other. This year's line-up: Nelly Furtado, Will I Am, Flo Rida and Cassie!
