A revolutionary artist and therefore often little loved by his contemporaries, Caravaggio turns Italy in search of fortune or perhaps in search of himself, escaping the most desire that has ever happened in his passage. The film tells the story of the brilliant and controversial Italian painter Michelangelo Merisi, aka Caravaggio, using the scientific advice of Claudio Strinati and the speeches by Mina Gregori, President of the Foundation of Art History Roberto Longhi and Rossella Vodret, curator of the exhibition "Dentro Caravaggio", at Palazzo Reale in Milan until January 28 2018.
