In close collaboration with the Valletta Cultural Agency (VCA) and Esplora Interactive Science Centre, MICAS presents the Shadow Colour Pavilion, an immersive sensorial experience, offering visitors the opportunity for playful contemporary creative engagement.
The Shadow Colour Pavilion utilises pure light colour to immerse visitors in a multisensorial experience to explore colour perception, light, shadow and space. It offers stimulating engagement by inviting visitors of all ages to actively participate and explore creative process by moving within the pavilion and generating multiple coloured shadows. This two-day event will be facilitated by Esplora communicators who through dedicated activities and props will guide visitors to discover more about light, colour and shadow. The Shadow Colour Pavilion is an initiative of MICAS’ education and community strand programme that is intended to foster and strengthen community and neighbourhood engagement, while prioritizing inclusion and wider participation. Education is at the heart of MICAS’s remit and our aim is to remove barriers and make contemporary art and creative engagement accessible to all.
