Map of the Mediterranean
Description:
The ‘Map of the Mediterranean’ concert will focus on the theme of the Mediterranean Sea, with poetry by Antoine Cassar and new music by Luc Houtkamp and the POW Ensemble. It will also feature Guy Harries on flute, electronics and vocals, and Tom Armitage on keyboards. This music-and-poetry event explores how migration and travel has shaped Mediterranean culture and will premiere on UN World Refugee Day. Cassar will recite his own poem, intersected with songs and music.
