Blockchain panel debate: Are You Ready for Global Disruption?

As this year's Annual Events are taking place in Malta - the world's first blockchain powered island, CEMS Alumni Association is delighted to invite you to attend the Interactive Panel Debate on Blockchain Technology: Are You Ready for Global Disruption?

The panel will consist of leading experts from a broad range of sectors who will debate on the current and future implications of the forthcoming blockchain disruption. A live-stream is also planned.

Stephen McCarthy, Chief Executive Officer at Malta Digital Innovation Authority, the new authority which will regulate the emerging technological sector and promote Malta as the center for excellence for technological innovation while setting and enforcing standards that ensure compliance with any other international obligations.

13.40 – 13.50 Introduction to Blockchain and panelists by Moderator: Joeri van Geelen, Managing Partner at Build Blocks; a blockchain start-up accelerator and community of advisors, builders and connectors. CEMS Alumni of the Year 2016 and #1 Best Young Professional 2014.

13.50 – 14.50 Panel Debate:

Hando Rand, CEO & Co-Founder Agrello; a company that builds Legally Binding Smart Contracts to enable P2P relationships in the digital world, while powering smarter operation and compliance in private and public sectors.

Christian Mischler, Managing Partner at Swiss Founders Fund; a seed & early stage investment fund. Previously co-founder of multiple high-growth tech startups in Europe and Asia. CEMS Alumni of the Year 2015.

Leoor Groen, Manager at Blockchain Valley Ventures; a Swiss venture capital firm investing into and supporting blockchain-enabled businesses.
