2019 Perskindol Malta Mountain Running Championships (5.6km)
Description:
A unique, challenging hill race, starting in a beautiful countryside location in Bingemma climbing a total of 146m to one of the highest points on the island (236m) over a distance of 5.6km for a sunset finish at Kuncizzjoni chapel in Rabat.
Malta does not have mountains but there are some steep inclines & beautiful countryside! Are you up for the challenge?
Organised by the Malta Mountain Running Sub-Committee under the auspices of the Malta Amateur Athletics Association and the Mgarr Local Council. This is a selection race for the European Mountain Running Championships (Zermatt, Switzerland 7th July 2019 - uphill) & World Mountain Running Championships (Villa la Angostura 16th November 2019 - up&down).
