Description:

An evening of Music and Dance showcasing talent from the School of Performing Arts at the University of Malta. Students and Lecturers will offer a blend of live music, screen dance and live contemporary dance.

The first part of the show will feature flutist Nicole Spiteri who will play a series of solo and accompanied chamber music. Four third-year students from the Dance Studies department will join forces at the stage to close the first part of the evening. An intermezzo of six 1-minute screen dance pieces will open the second part, followed by two newly commissioned dance pieces by dance lecturer Paula Guzzanti and Dance Studies alumni Alicja Sonsnia.

Both pieces highlight social issues such as control and social alienation and the housing crisis.

Festival doors open at 19:00 daily. Festival Events start at 20:30 daily

This is a ticketed event: early bird batch at €10 via promo code apsfest | normal ticket rate at €15.

No Tickets will be sold at the door.

Vaccination certificate is required at the door. No entry to ticket holders without vaccination certificate. This is a socially distant, wheelchair accessible, seated event and masks should be worn at all times.
