It’s a Kind of Magic – The Queen Story promises to be a spectacular explosion of sound through some of the world’s greatest rock anthems.

It has been a long time coming, and finally, the Malta Tourism Authority is proud to announce that, on the 24th September 2021, the Granaries in Floriana are set, to once again welcome the world-famous BBC Orchestra.

It’s a Kind of Magic – The Queen Story will be taking the audience through a voyage through time as the 60-piece BBC Orchestra and a five-piece rock ensemble, will be playing some of the biggest tunes which have accompanied us through the decades, by some of the world’s biggest bands and lead singers, including Queen and Freddie Mercury.

In fact, the evening will be hosted by Spandau Ballet’s Tony Hadley, who will also be singing during the night. Hadley who performed at Live Aid, is also one of the very few who knew and sang with Freddie Mercury live in duet, back in 1985.

Also lending their voices to the evening will be Vanessa Hayes, Rachael Wooding, Ashton Jones, Tim Howar, and a couple of special surprises, which cannot be revealed as yet. The line-up features music by Led Zeppelin, John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix and Aretha Franklin, to mention but a few!

This event, is being organised following the COVID-19 protocols currently in place by the Health Authorities. The maximum safety of the musicians, the performers and the audience remains a top priority throughout. For this reason, when booking tickets online at visitmalta.com – which can be up to a maximum of 6 people per group, people will also be asked to confirm that they are in possession of a valid COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate. There will be maximum groups of 6 seats with 2m distance between groups, and overall bubbles will be of a maximum of 340 people. Each bubble will have its own queuing system & amenities. Temperature will be checked upon entrance & and an approved vaccine certificate needs to be presented together with an Identification Document.
