Quand je dors, S. 282 Reynaldo Hahn L’heure exquise Antonín Dvořák Songs my mother taught me Sergei Rachmaninoff Zdes’ Khorosho, Op. 21, No. 7 The MPO present a recital for Voice and Harp, launching an album recording released by ARIA Classics featuring soprano Tatiana Lisnic and MPO Principal Harp. The concert features a number of songs of hope showcasing the variety and depth of human emotions conveyed through a palette of colours of the human voice merged with the charm of the harp. Hahn’s cycle of six songs in Venetian dialect pay homage to the city’s serene canals is complemented by works written for this line-up.
