The Malta Book Festival returns for its 38th edition between 23-27 November 2022.
Malta’s foremost book celebration in the country’s cultural calendar will be bringing a packed 5-day programme of events for visitors of all ages. The events programme will be published in the coming weeks and includes a mix of book launches, readings, meetings with authors, poetry readings, and seminars featuring local and international publishers and authors. A staple at the Festival, schoolchildren will have a programme tailored for them, including educational shows based on Terramaxka Prize winners.
This year’s poster is illustrated and designed by children’s author and illustrator Gattaldo around a theme that dates back to the cave dweller - visual storytelling.
Returning to the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre (MFCC), Malta’s largest international conference and exhibition venue, the 2022 Malta Book Festival will be boasting a record number of more than 50 exhibitors. Over 8,000 square metres of space is being dedicated to exhibition areas for publishers, booksellers and NGOs, and activity areas for the numerous book presentations and discussions, while providing visitors with full accessibility and hassle-free parking.
The Festival has earned its reputation as the ideal platform for authors and publishers to present their latest work, and allowing for extensive networking opportunities for industry professionals.
