Get ready to sail back in time and immerse yourself in the turbulent history of the Great Siege of Malta. Join us on a Harbour Cruise on either the 18th or 20th of July 2023, reliving the violent and climactic events of the summer of 1565.
This unique experience will take you on a journey around the Grand Harbour and Marsamxett Harbour, focusing on the bloodied highlights of this sensational siege. With expert commentary from our knowledgeable guides, we will recount some of the harshest fought battles, with epic tales of resilience and courage against all odds, whilst highlighting strategic buildings and areas that were instrumental for the final hard-earned victory achieved by order of St John and the Maltese.
This harbour cruise is an ideal opportunity for history buffs to explore the gruesome 4-month-long siege that shaped Maltese history thereafter. With limited seating, tickets are selling fast, so be sure to book your spot now!
Tickets are priced at €17 for adults, €15 for seniors and students, and €10 for children (up to 11 years old) and Heritage Malta members. Heritage Malta members will be requested to present their membership card on the day.
The meeting point for our departure is at Sliema Ferries, opposite Marks & Spencer, at 18:00.
