St. Paul's Day
Description:
FWA will mark the feast of Malta’s national patron - St. Paul in the fashion of old days when important religious feasts were celebrated with gun salutes from fortifications.
A full-gun salute will be fired from the Saluting Battery in Valletta on Monday 10th February 2014 at 12.00hrs. A special commentary for the day will commence 15 minutes before.
Two hands-on guided tours will be available at 11.00am and 12.15pm during which an introduction in the field of historic artillery will be made.
The afternoon tours will also be leading visitors for the first time through: the Lascaris tunnel at Battery Street, Valletta reaching the St.Peter & St.Paul's counter guard.
Entrance fee will be € 5 for adults and free for children u/16 yrs of age.
