Malta International Music Festival - Piano Competition

Mediterranean Cultural Foundation for Music and Mediterranean Centre of Culture and Art, in collaboration with the Malta Community Chest Fund, chaired by H.E. The President of Malta and with support of Yuri Rozum’s International Music School in Malta, proudly announces Malta International Music Festival & Competition from 27th of April till 11th of May 2014.

Total prize value of €14,350.

Price for participation: €100

Age categories and prizes: 18 years - 35 years: I prize – 7000 Euro; II prize – 3000 Euro; III prize – 1500 Euro. 13 years – 17 years: I prize – 1000 Euro; II prize – 600 Euro; III prize – 300 Euro. 12 years and under: I prize - 500 Euro; II prize – 300 Euro; III prize – 150 Euro.

* Organizers reserve the right to increase the prize value

*Accommodation is optional at an extra charge of 175 Euro

*Special prize to the best Maltese participant in every age category

Malta International Music Festival, held from 27th of April till 6th of May 2014, consists of series of piano, cello, saxophone, violin, chamber ensembles and voice master-classes and concerts in the leading venues of Malta & Gozo. Price for participation: €900. Package includes: Master-classes, Participation in concerts, Accommodation (incl. breakfast), Sightseeing tour.

* Passive participation in master-classes is 600 Euro incl. accommodation

* Maltese participants willing to take part in the Festival can apply for a scholarship
