Spring Walk - Sir Paul Boffa Hospital

Sir Paul Boffa Hospital provides treatment for patients suffering from all forms of Cancer. In order to provide a holistic service, Boffa Hospital liaises closely with NGOs such as the Hospice Movement, thus ensuring continuity of care that goes beyond medical treatment.

In support of fundraising activities currently being organized, staff at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital are organizing a Spring Walk with the aim of complementing initiatives that will ultimately benefit the same patients its own staff dedicate their time, strength and energy to.

The Spring Walk, which will take place on Saturday 12th April, will start from the gates of Sir Paul Boffa Hospital in Floriana at 10:00 and end there again at 12:00. Light refreshments will be served afterwards. Persons attending will be free to donate towards this cause.

This initiative is being organized between staff at SPBH and a team of volunteers who will, in May 2014, be walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain in support of Hospice Malta and Flimkien ghal Ambjent Ahjar.

Joining us on Saturday 12th April at 10:00 for the Spring Walk will be a committed sign of solidarity towards the prevention and treatment of Cancer. Let us not go through life alone and uncaring. Together we will make this world a better place.
