The Armier Beach Party

After six successful past editions, the greatest beach party to kick off the summer season, the Armier beach party is back with a bang! This year’s event will be held on Sunday 1st June at (little) Armier beach. Past parties were headlined by top international house DJs such as Steve Angello, Axwell, Infinity Ink, Tim Mason and Laidback Luke. To keep with tradition, this year’s lineup will definitely be bigger, better, stronger and louder!

Andrea Oliva from Ushuais’s Saturday night residency at A.N.T.S. in Ibiza will be headlining this year’s sizzling edition. Straight out of Basel, Switzerland, Andrea Oliva packs a mixed bag of musical influences, a lifetime of DJ experience and infectious enthusiasm which dazzles clubs, whether he’s behind the decks, or sending ripples across the dancefloor with his deft, melodic, techno and house productions which are inspired by everything from Detroit techno to early German house.

2013 was Andrea’s most successful year to date as he launched his summer residency at ‘Ushuaïa Ibiza’ the place that led the way in transforming Ibiza into what it is today. He played out to the crowds at the venue’s hottest new underground party ‘ANTS’. He also topped the Beatport charts with his remix of Luciano’s ‘Rise Of Angels’ which was widely recognised as the ANTS summer anthem, spreading like wildfire across the whole island of Ibiza as well as being one of Cadenza’s biggest selling records to date.

The summer of 2013 in particular saw Andrea Oliva amazingly play over 70 gigs in the space of three months, including his ANTS residency, which launched and finished the season and was hailed as one of the most successful parties ever on the island. Andre was not only a headlining DJ but he was very much involved with the musical direction of ANTS, identifying100% with the ANTS philosophy of throwing a party. We are to expect an even bigger 2014 from this fast rising star as he returns to his ANTS residency whilst continuing his monthly resident sets at Nordstern, warming up this coming winter with a resident spot at Italy’s infamous Cocorico.

To add to his already busy schedule, there are also releases in the pipeline on Be As One, Saved, Nordstern Music, Defected, Objektivity and Mobilee records in 2014 and he certainly won’t be stopping there.
