Botta u Risposta: Hip-Hop Battles

Botta u Risposta will bring together 4 Hip-Hop elements on one deck that is Breakdancing, Rapping, Beatboxing and DJing! It will feature a highly anticipated no-holds-barred Rap Battle between local rap vet and icon Hooligan and up and coming vitriol spitting Lapes from the group No Bling Show. They will be battling it over five rounds four of which will be straight acapella, where each MC has to display his lyrical prowess, wit and skill at the expense of the other MC. In other words it's a verbal boxing match of lyrical creativity!

Other features will be breakdance battles between B-Boys Tinu White and Ritmo Roc (both from the Maltese Knights Crew) and B-Girls Hazy and Paqxa. The beatbox challenge will feature il-Hagu and Zerud where they will be displaying their skills in mouth percussion and other bizarre sounds! English/Maltese rapper Rumbull ("Pulse of a Rebel", "Horse's Head") will be give a pure fire performance hyping up the crowd in view of the MC Battle.

DJ El Jako will be in charge of the turntables during all battles and will also be spinning some classic Hip-Hop tunes during the after party.

Tickets are €5 and can be purchased at the doors, opening at 9pm.
